Unfortunately not all bathrooms are as large as we’d want them. Where space is at premium, the Riva is particularly suitable, offering a variety of styles and sizes to help retain a roomy feel even when a bath is installed.

This suite was first launched at the ISH fair, Frankfurt, in 1995. 
This eye-catching and flexible suite comes in three versions: close-coupled, back-to-wall and wall-hung.
The Riva suite boasts a variety of basins and has probably the largest choice of washbasins within a single range.  This is another good example of the attention to detail paid by Vitra.
The Riva suite is perfect for small bathrooms or cloakrooms.  The back-to-wall WC can be combined with either the semi-recessed basin or with a large variety of cloakroom basins (38cm, 45cm, 50cm and 50cm short-projection).
 

Basins

There are four cloakroom basins (38cm, 45cm, 50cm and 50cm short-projection) within the Riva range. The 45cm and 50cm ones can be used with matching half-pedestals. The 50cm short-projection basin has a projection of only 28.5cm (less than 12 inches).  This space saving cloakroom basin is unique in being small, but still spacious enough to wash both hands. For those who think that the 50cm short-projection basin is still too big, the Riva range offers a 38cm cloakroom basin, which carries the same design feature and has a projection of only 25.5cm.
The suite includes three sizes of washbasins, (55cm, 60cm and 65cm), which can be used either with full or half-pedestals. The half pedestal for the Riva range has a distinctive cone shape.
There are two 100cm washbasins with the main shelf on the left or right hand side. There is one 80cm washbasin with integral symmetrical shelves.
 The half-pedestals are fitted to the basins with the aid of special easy-fit springs. This method of fixing ensures a better fit of the basin and half-pedestal and eliminates extra holes in the wall.
Riva washbasins are produced with a recess underneath to ensure that the pedestal or half pedestal fits perfectly.
The round shaped 55cm semi-recessed basin has a functional deep bowl.
All washbasins are available with one tap hole as standard.

WCs

We recommend Vitra cistern fittings for the close-coupled WC. The top of the cistern reflects the characteristic design of the basins. The back-to-wall pan is easily recognisable by its matching rim.  It is ideal for use in cloakrooms or for commercial projects. 
All Riva pans have closed rims for superior flushing. Riva pans have steep back plates, so they are easier to keep clean.  They are therefore suitable for use in public areas.
All Riva pans should be used with the Riva toilet seat. 

Bidets

The Riva range offers one close-coupled and one wall-hung bidet. We recommend that any Vitra monoblock mixer tap is used for both the floor standing and wall-hung bidets.

Colours

Riva comes in White, Pergamon, Champagne, Aegean Green, Whisper Blue, Whisper Pink, Manhattan as standard. Ivory, Jade, Slate, Calypso, Laser, Broadway, Jasmin and Edelweiss are also available.
